I visited Stanford University last year, not because I was attending some conference or something It was just to see the place. Many pics are taken from the fourteenth story of Hoover Tower , including the pic shown below.
This was the common question asked to us both at San Francisco Museum and SeaWorld San Diego. Guess what the answer is 'zero' as Polar Bear live in North Pole while penguins in South Pole :-)
After knowing this, the first thought which came to my mind is why don't they put some of the Polar Bears in South pole and some Penguins in North pole and see what happens ?
Sometimes you see the events which make you believe, world is a small place. I used to read the blog of this guy Gurmeet Singh Manku, and see here I am doing hiking with his group. Lets keep the coincidence aside, If you are in Bay Area California and interested in hikings, you should contact him. Every weekend he organises some hikings.
I visited California Academy of Sciences two weeks back. First time been to a planetarium and here its really good, A virtual tour of planet earth and nearby objects in space. They project the video on a dome shaped ceiling of the auditorium, thats interesting.
There is a nice aquarium and a section dedicated to rain forests. Other than that it was of ok kind (thats just my perception). Frankly speaking after visiting Disney Land and Universal Studios you hardly find anything more interesting. If you have time, go through the pics mentioned above, you will definitely enjoy it.
