Kanakapura Trip [Cycle Diaries]

This time we went towards Kanakapura its approx 55 km from Jayadeva flyover, Bangalore. Throughout, the road was very good. Its a fun ride while going, down slope most of the time and early morning cool temperature. The surroundings are beautiful. Many ponds and greenery all around. One of the best part of cycling in southern India is you get tender coconuts everywhere, really great refreshment. Overall we covered more than 100 kms. While coming back it was bit exhaustive due to sun light and long upward slopes. The trip duration was approx 7.5 hours including all the refreshment breaks.

One night @IISc

There are lots of sweet memories to cherish from IISc, one of them was to walk around IISc with friends. The days were beautiful but I personally enjoyed more of nights at IISc. The roads fully covered with trees, the cool breeze, nice fragrance throughout the campus, and the moon made it even more beautiful.

I got some comments on these pics (particularly for last few) that IISc is bit scary :-) he he he...........

Best alarm clock...........

Disclaimer : All the characters and incidents in this blog are real and there is clear resemblance of these characters with creatures in my orkut friends list. If these real life stories offending someone, that is purely intentional.

Friends play a very important role in everyone's life and I am no exception. Here I am going to write about some people who directly or indirectly, helped me to get into or out of troubles.

This short story is about sahebrao one of my M.E. classmate. "Woh jab bhi sota hain Gadhe, ghode sab bechkar sota hain."

How often you set an alarm clock but that makes no difference to your daily routine, you are late as always. Here is an alarm clock which works perfectly.

A beautiful morning in IISc (I never enjoyed the mornings before as I did in IISc, because of frequent night outs). I had my breakfast and I was going to sleep then suddenly my phone rings. It was around 8.00 AM.

Some unknown number, it was a girl's voice.
(She was swati, Sahebrao's girlfriend)

she said : Main swati bol rahi hoon. Saheb rao ka office hai aur woh abhi tak utha nahin hai. Maine uske saare friends ko phone kiya magar uska pata nahin chala.

Then I suggested few more friend's name where she can try. But in the mean time I thought I should not allow to stop, so many people following their dreams (at least in dreams people do great things). I have to figure out where is sahebrao.

After exhaustive search I found out that saheb is in one of the IISc hostel, I went there and with the help of few people I was able to wake him up. I called back to swati, that its done and the calling chain stopped from her side.

The point here is that this alarm clock will never fail. wish you all a beautiful alarm clock :)
